An AR-15 lower parts kit (LPK) has every small part that turns a stripped or 80% lower into a working lower receiver: the trigger and hammer, the safety selector, the magazine and bolt catches, and the pins, springs and detents. Mil-spec kits fit any mil-spec AR-15 lower, including 80% lowers and AR-9 lowers.

A castle nut and end plate hold the safety detent spring and the buffer tube in place. They usually come with the buffer tube, not the LPK. Get the LPK + stock combo or the stock and buffer tube assembly.
Will an AR-15 LPK fit an AR-10? LR-308/AR-10 lowers use many AR-15 parts, but the bolt catch, magazine catch and some pins differ, so use the LR-308/AR-10 kit. See AR-10 vs LR-308 and the AR-10 and AR-15 compatibility guide.
Does it fit an 80% lower? Yes. Our 80% lowers are mil-spec, so any mil-spec LPK fits.
Can I upgrade the trigger later? Yes. A drop-in trigger replaces the kit’s hammer, trigger and disconnector. To skip the mil-spec trigger entirely, start with the AR15 LPK – Basic Build Kit.
