Some of us like our AR platform rifles traditional or built as close to mil-spec as possible. We build replicas of that Colt model 629 or of the old-school M-16, because we want that nostalgia when we shoot. There’s just one problem: the mil-spec triggers of these rifles of a bygone era were gritty and didn’t feel good to shoot. That’s why ALG Defense is bringing you the QMS Quality Mil-Spec Trigger.
The QMS is a lot better to shoot. The trigger pull is smoother with the QMS, which means no more gritty feel to it. The QMS is also good for competitors with strict trigger regulations, because the QMS maintains exact mil-spec dimensions. This means you don’t have to suffer from a bad feel to your trigger pulls, so you can concentrate on the more important stuff like your course times and your aim.

The slack and grittiness of the trigger are completely gone with the trigger. Weight is about the same but pull length seems shorter.

I would say my ideal trigger weight would be about 4-5 pounds this one is a little heavier at about 6.5. Still for 1/4 the price of a Timney much smoother and better than stock.
