Description
This is the perfect cleaning and maintenance mat for your AR-15 or AR-10. The soft polyester top-layer material will protect your firearm from any scratches or damage and, as an added bonus, features a waterproof coating to keep oils and grime from being absorbed by the mat. The back of the mat features neoprene rubber backing to ensure your work surface is protected from dirt, grime and chemicals.

*The exploded view drawing on our build mat was after the A2 style AR-15 as built by Colt. However, as it goes with all AR-15s, the parts are equivalent and will be 90-95% in line with your own AR rifle.
Care Instructions: Over time, your build mat may accumulate dirt, chemicals, or oil from cleaning or working on your firearm. To clean your build mat, simply throw it in the washing machine on a gentle cycle, then set it out to air dry and your build mat will be nice and clean again!

It is a good bench covering. It is like a big mouse pad (that I used to launch my springs across the room from)… it may be easier to see small parts if the mat was available in another color but I’m happy with it.
