Our mil-spec forged lower’s now available in raw aluminum, allowing you to more easily apply a custom camoflauge paint job, or other custom coating of your choice. Beyond its raw finish, this forged 80% lower is identical to our mil-spec, forged, anodized units.

I have not yet done any work on this lower receiver but it appears to be of excellent quality and I anticipate no problems when I finally do go to work to finish it.

This turn out to be a great item. I was skeptical at first with there being no finish but the build turned out great. The lower machined out just like normal and gave an amazing appearance to the weapon with the raw aluminum and the black. Getting lots of praise for the look. Will be adding a clear coat to protect the lower at a later date. I really cant say enough about the forged lowers raw or coated . . . there just a great item and most of all they work.
