Our mil-spec forged lower’s now available in raw aluminum, allowing you to more easily apply a custom camoflauge paint job, or other custom coating of your choice. Beyond its raw finish, this forged 80% lower is identical to our mil-spec, forged, anodized units.

After screwing up 2 plastic lowers this one actually came out pretty nice. I just need to engrave it with something funny and make it shiny. This lower will be used on .224 Valkyrie rifle. I already tried it with all the parts but did not try to fire yet. I cannot take it to a range like this – naked. 🙂

I am retired. It is a huge amount of fun to be able to mill my own lower, and pick all the features I want on it, including caliber. These lowers are excellent quality. After milling and fit check, I take it to the local gun store for serial number engraving. Then I Cerakote it – a different color gun and matching mags for every caliber. Only 5.56 is black. That way my Son doesn’t stick the wrong mag in the wrong AR. SAFETY FIRST! I wrote software for a living, but I love retirement and my milling machine!

The raw lower took to the Cerakote flawlessly . When i put my completed lower together w/ my completed upper from PSA thats when i actually realized the precise craftsmanship . Absolutely 0% no wobble between the two . it fit together like they were meant to be that way , so i pledge to bring as many lowers to as many uppers as i can afford to do so, because its the right thing to do!
