Our new and improved billet AR-9 80% lower is here!
Featuring an updated design with better aesthetics, a new magazine catch and ejector fasteners, our second generation AR-9 80% lower is better than ever. Made from quality billet 6061-T6 aluminum. Compatible with standard AR-15 lower parts kit components, and all 9mm AR uppers.
ONLY compatible with standard 9mm GLOCK® OEM magazines.
- LRBHO (Last Round Bolt Hold Open) – Since our AR-9 lowers do not house an internal linkage for the bolt catch, you’ll need an upper receiver with integrated LRBHO to keep the bolt back on an empty magazine. Double-check your upper’s specs to ensure full functionality.

Assembling Your 80% Lower
Once your lower is fabricated, it’s time to assemble it. You’ll need the following components:
*Although made to chamber 9mm, this lower still uses a standard AR-15 (5.56/.223) lower parts kit and standard AR-15 buffer tube.

Using your jig to mill the receiver was easy. Big problem in trying to use it after everything was finished. None of the Glock style magazines or original Glock magazines will fit. I have tried 3 different manufacturers 9mm and 40 cal (which I want to build) and none of them are even close to going in. I have been filing for about 3 hours and am not getting anywhere. I have used several of your 80% lowers for other l ar`s I`ve built for myself and not had this part5icular problem before!

I like how it’s less than $100 including shipping. It’s everything I wanted, well, except for I do like having a flared mag well but that’s not a big issue. Over all it’s perfect! I like the mag release and the 9mm metal piece (not sure what that’s called) seems more robust than the others. The shipping was fast the packaging was great! I think it would’ve been rad if a sticker was included.. I’ll remember 80% lowers for my next build
