Multi-Purpose AR-15 Armorer’s Wrench for Barrel Nuts, Castle Nuts and Muzzle Devices
If you build or work on AR-15s, this is the tool you’ll reach for on almost every job. One wrench handles the high-torque steps on both the upper and the lower: barrel nuts, castle nuts, buffer tubes, flash hiders, muzzle brakes and free-float rail installs.
It’s made from heat-treated steel with a black powder coat and weighs about 18 oz, so it has the heft to break loose stubborn parts. Built-in 1/2″ and 1/4″ drive openings let you use a torque wrench when a part calls for a specific torque value, and the ergonomic handle gives you solid leverage.

Quality built tool. I’ve seen lots of similar tools complained about for slipping or warping under pressure, but this tool is solid built. If it doesn’t work well for you, it’s your technique, not a tool issue. The only con i can think of is that the finish is not durable for a production environment. For me, it will last a lifetime.
