Our new and improved billet AR-9 80% lower is here!
Featuring an updated design with better aesthetics, a new magazine catch and ejector fasteners, our second generation AR-9 80% lower is better than ever. Made from quality billet 6061-T6 aluminum. Compatible with standard AR-15 lower parts kit components, and all 9mm AR uppers.
ONLY compatible with standard 9mm GLOCK® OEM magazines.
- LRBHO (Last Round Bolt Hold Open) – Since our AR-9 lowers do not house an internal linkage for the bolt catch, you’ll need an upper receiver with integrated LRBHO to keep the bolt back on an empty magazine. Double-check your upper’s specs to ensure full functionality.

Assembling Your 80% Lower
Once your lower is fabricated, it’s time to assemble it. You’ll need the following components:
*Although made to chamber 9mm, this lower still uses a standard AR-15 (5.56/.223) lower parts kit and standard AR-15 buffer tube.

Out of the box, everything looks fine. Fit, finish all good. The only stickler is there are no instructions. The lower came with a mag release system bagged separately. Since I’ve not put a 9mm together before, I was kinda lost. I’m sure I’ll figure it out,but some guidance would be a big help.Other that that- all good!
